
Steve qualified from the University of Glasgow in 1998 and spent 4 ½ years in small animal, first opinion practice before undertaking a Small Animal Surgery residency at the University of Liverpool. Following completion of his residency Steve joined Northwest Surgeons in 2006 successfully passed his European College of Veterinary Surgeons Diploma in 2008 and has since become a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Recognised Specialist in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics). Recently, Steve has been involved with the teaching of the undergraduate students at the University of Nottingham, the UK’s newest veterinary school. Steve has a keen interest in arthroscopy (key-hole surgery of joints) and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
