Ben Keeley BVM&S CertSAS DipECVS MRCVS, European and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Surgery (Orthopaedics)
After qualifying from Edinburgh Veterinary School, Ben spent three years working in a busy orthopaedic referral hospital in South Yorkshire where he gained the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. Keen to continue development of his surgical skills, Ben subsequently completed a small animal surgery residency at University College Dublin and successfully became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2008. Originally from Southport, Ben returned to the North West, joining Northwest Surgeons in September 2008. He has published in several peer-reviewed journals, his research interests including external skeletal fixation and joint reconstruction. He enjoys teaching and regularly provides continuing education courses for the veterinary profession
