Onsite MRI now live

After years of relying on weekly mobile MRI scanners we are in the process of installing our very own onsite MRI scanner. This means we will now be able to offer MRI every day of the week.
After months of planning and weeks of building work the scanner is due to arrive Friday 13th January (who planned that?!). Once it's in place it'll be over to the tech guys to get it operational before we can start scanning. As soon as it's ready we'll let you know.
With the growth in the medicine service and with the arrival of MRI we now have on-demand diplomate standard diagnostic imaging to allow us to get the most from our imaging modalities and offer the best service to you and your pet.
The image at the bottom is a recent shot of the scan room. To take the 14 ton weight of the scanner the floor had to be cut out and replaced with a concrete base. I'll have the camera at the ready for the arrival of the scanner!
